I'm John. Since Novermber 2021 I have been a teaching fellow at Edinburgh University where I teach on the Data Science in Health and Social Care MSc programme.
For a while I worked as an instructor at the Edinburgh digital skills academy, CodeClan, where I taught data science to career changers.
I am most comfortable speaking in the R language, but can also make myself undertood in Python, SQL, and JS. And sometimes, if I mash the keyboard a bit, something resembling Haskell occasionally pops out.

Prior to working at CC I was a researcher at the University of Stirling.
